Privacy Policy
Matamna Homebuyers (legal name Matamna RE Inc, referred to here as "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you when you visit www.matamna.com or interact with our services.
This policy applies to information we collect through our website, web forms, phone calls, text messages, and email correspondence. It does not apply to third-party websites we may link to.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit a form, call us, or correspond with us, we may collect:
- Contact information: Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Property information: Property address, condition, occupancy status, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, mortgage or lien status, timeline for selling, and other details relevant to evaluating a potential real estate transaction.
- Situation details: Information you choose to share about why you are selling, which may include circumstances such as an inheritance, foreclosure, divorce, or relocation.
- Communication records: Records of your correspondence with us, including emails, text messages, and notes from phone calls.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including:
- IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it.
- Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size.
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and the referring website or advertisement that brought you to us.
- Session activity such as mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, captured by our analytics tools (see Section 6).
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers through our website. Please do not submit that information through our web forms.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate your property and prepare a cash offer.
- Contact you about your inquiry, our offer, and any resulting transaction.
- Coordinate closing with title companies, attorneys, and other parties to the transaction.
- Research public property records, including county appraisal district and deed records, in connection with your inquiry.
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our website and services.
- Measure the performance of our advertising and understand which campaigns bring us inquiries.
- Send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Communication Consent
By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to receive communications from us, including phone calls, text messages (SMS), and emails, regarding your property inquiry and our services.
You acknowledge and agree that these communications may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or prerecorded voice messages. Your consent to receive these communications is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, or of selling your property to us.
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. Reply HELP to any text message for assistance.
4. Opt-Out and Unsubscribe
You may opt out of receiving communications from us at any time:
- Text messages (SMS): Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us to immediately opt out of future SMS communications.
- Emails: Click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email we send, or reply to the email requesting removal from our list.
- Phone calls: Tell our representative during a call that you no longer wish to be contacted, or email us with your request.
Opting out of marketing communications does not stop transactional messages related to an active transaction, such as scheduling a closing.
5. Legal Basis and Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Records relating to a completed real estate transaction are generally retained for the period required by applicable law and our insurance and tax obligations. Inquiry records for properties we did not purchase are retained for a shorter period for follow-up and record-keeping, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You may request deletion earlier, subject to the exceptions in Section 10.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand how visitors use it, and measure our advertising. The specific services we use are:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Used to load our measurement tags and to understand aggregate website traffic, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook). Used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads on Meta platforms. The pixel records page views and actions such as submitting a form or clicking a phone number, and shares this activity with Meta. Where automatic advanced matching is enabled, Meta may receive hashed versions of contact details submitted in a form, such as an email address, phone number, or name, to help measure ad performance and delivery. You can manage how Meta uses this information through your Meta ad preferences.
- Microsoft Clarity. Used to understand how visitors interact with our pages. Clarity records session activity including mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, and can produce session replays and heatmaps. Clarity is configured to mask text entered into form fields. You can learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Nexvato and Vendasta (offer request form). The offer request form on this website is a third-party widget provided by our marketing partner, Nexvato, and operated on the Vendasta platform. The widget is loaded from Vendasta-controlled domains and may set cookies or similar identifiers in order to function. The details you enter into it — including your name, phone number, email address, and property address — are transmitted to and stored on Vendasta's systems, where they are made available to us through the customer relationship management platform we use to respond to your inquiry.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the website function. Some browsers also offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as a request to opt out of targeted advertising where applicable.
7. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors who perform services for us, such as form processing, email and SMS delivery, hosting, analytics, and customer relationship management. This includes Nexvato, our marketing partner, and Vendasta, the platform that hosts our offer request form and customer relationship management system; both receive the information you submit through our forms. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.
- Transaction parties. Title companies, escrow officers, attorneys, surveyors, inspectors, insurers, and lenders as needed to evaluate and close a transaction involving your property.
- Assignees and transaction partners. If we assign a purchase contract, we may share transaction-related information with the assignee. See our Terms of Service for how contract assignment works.
- Advertising platforms. As described in Section 6, website activity is shared with Meta and Google for advertising measurement. Under some state privacy laws this activity may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" even though no money changes hands. You can opt out as described in Sections 6 and 10.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to do so to comply with applicable law, a governmental request, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers or bank account numbers by email or through our web forms.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed to adults and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Privacy Rights

- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell your personal data for money. You may still request that we stop sharing website activity with advertising platforms.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
12. International Data Transfers
We operate in the United States and our services are intended for United States residents. If you access our website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Some of the service providers described in this policy operate outside the United States or store data outside it. In particular, the offer request form and the customer relationship management platform behind it are operated on the Vendasta platform, which is headquartered in Canada and whose published terms state that personal information may be stored or processed in the United States, Canada, or other jurisdictions. By submitting information through our forms, you understand that it may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those of your own country.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The current version is always the one posted on this page, and it takes effect when posted. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our website.
